About Me

It all started in 2002 as a hobby and just seems to have grown, from buying my first puppy and realising how easy it is for everything to go wrong and not knowing a thing about training a dog but being determined, I bred from her, kept two dogs, read every book I could get my hands on, watched videos (which we had then!!) and then on to dvds. At last, I started to learn what I should have done from the start.
I was then very lucky to be given a dog by a very good friend Charlie Hard, called Rytex Rent. He said, he wouldn't hunt so did all I could to get him going, this was the dog that got me into trialing, he was a very honest great little dog and we won our first novice on the 30/12/04.
After that, I was hooked and been very privileged to have met and made lots of good friends in the gundog world. One of them being Ian Openshaw, I was then lucky enough to purchase not one, but two very good dogs through him.
2009 was a great year, FTCH Woodstorm Babe of Woodabudge went to the ESS Championships, Ian running her and getting a diploma.
2010 Ian ran her again at the ESS Championships and was awarded fourth place, which you can read about in MY GIRLS.
2011 was my highlight year so far, firstly being picked as reserve for the England Team at the CLA Game Fair at Blenheim Palace with Edwardiana Bubble of Woodabudge, and then asked to run in the team for England at Anglesey which we won and I was 1 point from top dog.
Then making my first FTCH with Edwardiana Bubble of Woodabudge.

I enjoy doing tests, trials and pick up on three large estates in Devon and Cornwall and just love training my dogs and seeing new pups coming through every year, they are certainly right when they say its addictive and I couldn't do this with out the help and support of my husband Reg
